• The Medical Provider Program is now available.

  The medical training program is in full swing. The online registration and training program are working smoothly. I would like to thank the initial 300+ providers who have completed the program. The reason the program is now working so well is due in a large part to your contributions and feedback. As most of you know we are not requiring  recertification until 2011. This will allow us to focus on building the State Boards' workers' comensation provider network. The network is up and running and is fully functional. I am extremely excited about the future of the web based network. I feel strongly that it will become a major tool for employers and payers to populate their panels, find specialists for second opinions and to help employers and payers create preferred specialist list for referrals. In order for this network to be maximized we need to add additional providers especially outside of the metro Atlanta area. This will be my primary focus for 2010.
